On Thursday 7 and 14 February 2019 at 9.00 hrs., Ms. Thantitta Nakornthap, Director of Foreign Affairs Group gave a briefing on “The Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy and the Thai Society” and “The Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy and Its Application in the Aspects of UN Sustainable Development Goals” to the 90 freshmen who attended Bachelor Degree Programme in Political Science, major in Politics and International Relations (English Programme). This lecture was a part of TU312 Social Project and Campaign course which was held at the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, Tha-Prachan Campus, Bangkok.

            This session aims for increasing the awareness of the students regarding the importance of royal institution, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and royal families’ devotion, sacrifice and benevolence in various fields of development. This presentation covers the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, the development framework of royal projects, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s working principles and New Theory Farming practice, as well as the analysis of the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy in the aspects of UN sustainable development goals.
