ORDPB Representative Giving a Briefing and Arranging a Study Visit for the participants of Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific: CIRDAP

           On Monday 23 July 2018, at 09.00 hrs., Miss Thantitta Nakornthap, Director of Foreign Affairs Group, Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB) gave a briefing on The application of the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy in relation with the sustainable development goals and presenting a video presentation on “The Royal Development Principles of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej”, to the 15 participants of Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific: CIRDAP at KU Home Hotel, Bangkok.

          Then, on Wednesday 25 July 2018, the participants visited the Huai Sai Royal Development Study Centre in Phetchaburi Province. They were welcomed by PolColNoppakhun Bamrungpong, Deputy Director of the Huai Sai RDSC, the officials of the centre and the officials of Foreign Affair Group from the ORDPB. After a warm welcome and a brief introduction of Huai Sai RDSC, they were presented with a video presentation on the implementations of the centre. Then, they proceeded to observe the study of the efficiency of vetiver grass for improving hardpan soil and the utilization of Biochar for improving soil quality and structure.
