The Representatives from the Republic of Benin Visiting the Khao Hin Sorn Royal Development Study Centre and Adjacent Area in Chachoengsao Province on 12 February 2019

On 12 February 2019, the representatives from the Republic of Benin who participated in the Agriculture Sustainable Development Project, the expert from the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters and the official from Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, totally 7 people, visited the Khao Hin Sorn Royal Development Study Centre in Chachoengsao Province. The group was welcomed by Mr. Anuwat Phothinam, Director of the Khao Hin Sorn Royal Development Study Centre, and the officials of the centre and the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board and listened to the briefing on the operation of centre. Then, the group visited various development activities of the centre including the study and development of fishery, botanical garden work and the promotion of economic mushroom culture. Besides, the group visited Baan Win Sufficiency Economy Learning Centre on Integrated Farming in Phanom Sarakham District, Chachoengsao Province, to learn about the application of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy that is suitable to the area and number of labours in each household as well as the using of information technology (IT) in order to help collecting information, statistics and creating online marketing channels. The group was highly interested in all activities and posed several questions for further information.
