On Thursday 20 May 2021 at 15.00 – 18.00  hrs., Mr.Somsak Permkesorn, Advisor on Project Coordination, attended the 1st Meeting of Thailand-Lesotho Project Steering Committee (PSC) of the Project “Sustainable Agricultural Development in Lesotho Phase II,” together with Dr.Pisoot Vijarnsorn, Soil Expert and advisor to the project, Ms. Tipkamol Supakunthitapat, Executive Director of the Division of Special Affairs and Foreign Affairs and Ms. Thantitta Nakornthap, Director of Foreign Affairs Group. The meeting was hosted by Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs via Zoom Cloud Meeting Application.

The meeting was a bilateral meeting, which composed of the representatives from Kingdom of Lesotho and Kingdom of Thailand, in order to jointly consider and agree upon the proposed operational plan. The activities were emphasized on the maintenance of the irrigation system in the project and the strengthening of the Community Learning Centre (CLC). In this regards, Basotho representatives accepted the plan and would finish the framework for implementation before the next meeting.
