Performing the Royal Activities at the Royal-initiated Laem Phak Bia Environmental Study, Research, and Development Project, in Phetchaburi Province

On 27 March 2012, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn performed the opening of the Technical Services Centre Building at Laem Phak Bia Environmental Study and Development Project in Ban Laem District of Phetchaburi Province as well as followed up on the project’s achievements.



At 09:30 hrs. HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn performed the opening of the Technical Services Centre Building and gave souvenirs to representatives from the agencies involved for their continual support to the project.  She also gave awards to the winners of the contest on the project’s extension programmes. Then, she was reported about the achievements of the agencies involved and observed the exhibition in the Technical Services Centre Building.



After that, she moved to observe the project’s areas including the mangrove forest where she walked along the natural study trail to see the plants and birds in the mangrove forest while listening to briefings about the biological diversity in the forest by the Kasetsart University’s representatives. Then at 13:30 hrs., she visited the villagers and the Royal-granted Medical Mobile Unit.
