คุณสมบัติเยาวชนที่เข้าร่วมโครงการฯ

1. นิสิต นักศึกษาในระดับอุดมศึกษาหรือเทียบเท่า
2.  เป็นผู้มีความรู้และความสนใจเกี่ยวกับแนวพระราชดำริในพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทร
มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช บรมนาถบพิตร และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ บรมราชินีนาถ และ/หรือโครงการอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริต่าง ๆ ในประเทศไทย
3.  เยาวชนเพศชายหรือหญิงที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ ถือสัญชาติไทย มีอายุระหว่าง 18 - 25 ปี
4.  เป็นผู้มีความคิดสร้างสรรค์และมีภาวะผู้นำ
5.  มีประสบการณ์ในกิจกรรมและโครงการต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง (ถ้ามี)
6. มีความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในระดับดี โดยเฉพาะทักษะการเขียนและการพูด
7.  เป็นผู้มีความกระตือรือร้นในการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรม และสามารถนำเสนอผลงานเป็นภาษาอังกฤษได้
8.  มีสุขภาพแข็งแรง ไม่มีโรคประจำตัว หรือเป็นโรคติดต่อร้ายแรง และสามารถเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมได้ตลอดโครงการ
9.  มีประสบการณ์ในการเข้าร่วมโครงการค่ายเยาวชนรู้งานสืบสานพระราชดำริ (RDPB Camp) หรือ(RDPB Camp Extra)

การสมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการฯ

          เยาวชนที่จะเข้าร่วมโครงการฯ จะต้องแนบเอกสาร ดังนี้
1.  ใบสมัคร ASEAN YOUTH REPRESENTATIVES พร้อมติดรูปถ่ายหน้าตรง พื้นหลังอ่อน ขนาด 2 นิ้ว
2.  รูปถ่ายทั่วไป ขนาด 4 X 6 นิ้ว คนละ 1 รูป (รูปถ่ายเป็นปัจจุบันที่สุด)
3.  สำเนาบัตรประชาชน
4.  สำเนาใบรายงานผลการศึกษาปัจจุบัน
5. หนังสือแนะนำตัวผู้สมัครเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ จากอาจารย์ ที่ปรึกษาจากสถานศึกษาที่ท่านจบมาหรือกำลังศึกษาอยู่ และ/หรือผู้ว่าจ้าง (หากมีประสบการณ์
  ทำงาน)
6.  ใบรับรองแพทย์ ที่ระบุว่า สามารถเช้าร่วมกิจกรรมได้ตลอดโครงการ

Introduction

For the 70-year reign of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej ceaselessly dedicated his entire reign to improving his Thai people's lives for betterment and took the country out of several deadly turns with his wise counsel as the royal oath he gave during the coronation ceremony that “We shall reign with righteousness for the benefit and happiness of the Siamese people”. His Majesty’s wisdom and lifelong work will continue to be the beacon of hope that guides all Thais into a new dawn. Bestowed by His Majestythe Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) has now firmly taken root in Thai society. It has become the guiding philosophy for our country’s development. On behalf of the Royal Thai Government, we strongly reaffirmed that the Government and people of Thailand follow in His Majesty’s footsteps, carry on his royal legacies and also continue to actively promote SEP to the world, as Thailand’s valuable contribution to the principles and practice of sustainable development.

As the torch of bearers of His Majesty’s legacy for development, the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Office of the Prime Minister shall continue actively promoting SEP to the world, as Thailand’s valuable contribution to the principles and practice of sustainable development by proceeding to promote and disseminate SEP preliminary to ASEAN youths as the seed for the changes and hopes for the future in the third year of the international exchange program “the 3^rd ASEAN Youth Representatives in Experiencing the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy” (AY-REPSE 2019, Thailand) during 19-24 January 2019 in Thailand. Besides the youth representatives from 10 ASEAN countries, youth representatives from two guest countries which are the Kingdom of Bhutan and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste are cordially invited to participate in the program this year in the total number of 70 youth representatives comprising of 60 representatives from 10 ASEAN member countries and 10 representatives from two guest countries. This program shall provide the youth representatives from ASEAN countries and two guest countries with the precious opportunity to learn, practice and experience mainly focusing on the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy through theory, site visits of the royal initiatives in the Northeastern region of Thailand, and participations in the related activities. Besides, it is also a good opportunity to launch a youth connectivity network on realizing the SEP guiding the way to sustainable development.

Project Objectives

1. To disseminate the royal grace of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit in their ceaseless devotion in improving the Thai people's well-being and leading the country out of several adversities.

2. To create a mutual understanding and promote the learning on the Royal Initiatives and the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy as the life guidance leading to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the ASEAN+2 (the Kingdom of Bhutan and
the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste) youth representatives.

3. To drive and launch on connectivity network of ASEAN+2 (the Kingdom of Bhutan and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste) youth representatives in realizing the importance of working together to achieve the SDGs on the international level.

Tentative program

The program has been created to disseminate the Royal Initiatives of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit in promoting the learning and mutual understanding on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) among the ASEAN+2 (Bhutan + Timor-Leste) youth representatives; to educate, practice and apply on how the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) leads to a sustainable form of development in all aspects. Official Languages

English language shall be the communication language for this program.

Expected participants

The program expects to welcome 70 ASEAN+2 youth representatives of 10 ASEAN countries from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand; and the two guests countries: Bhutan and Timor-Leste. Each ASEAN country shall be represented by only 6 youths and each guest country shall be represented by only 5 youths which shall be qualified and nominated by their own country through the diplomatic channel.

Participant Qualifications (For Thai Applicants)

The Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Prime Minister’s Office shall assign the fundamental qualifications of the ASEAN+2 (Bhutan and Timor-Leste) youth representatives participating the program. The additional qualifications depend on the discretion of the designated authorities of each country.

1) Have an education background / be interested in His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her
Majesty the Queen Sirikit of the Kingdom of Thailand’s Initiatives and/or Royal Projects in Thailand
2) Be a citizen and resident of ASEAN+2 (Bhutan and Timor-Leste) member states
3) Must be at least 18 years old and no more than 25 years old
4) Hold a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months on the travelling date (For foreign applicants)
5) Be creative, and possess the potential leadership skill
6) Have an experience in related activities or projects (if any)
7) Possess functional level of written and spoken English
8) Be able to actively participate in discussions, and deliver presentations in English
9) Be in good health to be able to attend the whole program and well-prepared for camping and travelling
10) Have attended the RDPB Camp or RDPB Camp Extra (For Thai applicants)

Expenditure / Funding

The Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Prime Minister’s Office, as the host, shall bear the following costs during the program which include

1. The international travel cost (airfare ticket) and domestic travel cost (within Thailand)

2. Hotel accommodation cost during participation in the program
3. Inland transportation for all official visits in the program
4. Food expenses (meals)
5. Activity expenses

The participants are responsible for their own domestic travelling expenses in their countries and other expenses in addition shall be borne by the participants.

Travel Insurance

The participants from the ASEAN countries are responsible for making a travel insurance before travelling to Thailand. Due to arriving Thailand, the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Prime Minister’s Office shall bear the cost of accidental insurance during participation in this program in Thailand.
